Marvel Snap took over the mobile world when it launched in late 2022, bringing its snappy deckbuilding gameplay to our phones via the medium of Marvel’s merry heroes. But what made it sing beyond the actual card game was what was on those cards: reams and reams of new art across base sets and special variants, brought to life with the visual effects in-game. Now, after spending the last year-and-a-half chasing all that art, you can at least get some of it in the comfort of your own home without having to whip out your phone.

io9 has your first look at The Art of Marvel Snap, a collection of over 300 pieces of original art from the game releasing in a full-cover hardback collection early next year. Featuring character and location art–as well as art from the game’s myriad variant collections–the book will also offer insights from Snap developer Second Dinner about bringing their spin on the Marvel Universe to life.
